Two Louvre Roofs for Two Different Outdoor Areas

Stuart’s home had two separate outdoor areas that needed different levels of cover.
The main timber deck is a larger, more frequently used space, so we installed a 4 × 3.9m Caribbean motorised wall-mounted louvre roof. Its size covers most of the deck, while the motorised louvres allow the amount of shade, airflow and overhead protection to be adjusted as needed.

A second, smaller area beside the house required a more compact solution. Here, we installed a 2 × 2m Baltic wall-mounted louvre roof, providing focused cover without taking over the surrounding garden space.
Both structures are wall-mounted, with support posts positioned along the outer edge. This keeps the areas beside the house relatively open and avoids unnecessary posts close to the windows and access points.
The dark frames also suit the home’s timber cladding, black window frames and nearby metal finishes.
Together, the two louvre roofs give Stuart flexible cover across both outdoor areas, with each structure sized to suit its own space.
